FAQ

PSA is the technique used to pr oduce a physical reaction by using carbon molecular sieve s in the pressure vessel with the change of the different compressed air . Nitrogen molecules and oxygen molecules have different diffusion rates. When the pressure of oxygen is increased, the molecules are temporar i l y absorbed in the pores of the molecular sieve. In doing so, the oxygen and nitroge n will be separated ,then after desorbing and discharge, we will get the nitrogen.

For nitrogen generator, CMS (Carbon Molecular Sieves) is the necessary material but how can we know the quality of CMS? We give you some suggestions of CMS for you to determine.

Detail

Nitrogen generator is the smaller the better!

The less the molecular sieve

quantity the better!

The size of the nitrogen generator is directly related to the use of CMS; The better

the periormance of CMS, the better the effect of nitrogen production; For nitrogen

generators with the same nitrogen production capacity, the high-efficiency CMS are

used, the smaller size of the nitrogen generators will be

the smaller air compressor the better!

Because the energy consumption will

be smaller.

When the nitrogen generator choosing to use high-quality CMS, will reduce the loss

of compressed air during the nitrogen generate process

Especially the cost of the compressor in the nitrogen generator is the heaviest

Benefit comparison between Liquid nitrogen & Nitrogen Generator

Item

Liquid nitrogen

Nitrogen Generator

Feature

Low temperature (-196°C) and high pressure will cost addition to the end user. e.g. The loss of piping and three-thousandths of pressure evaporation per day.

Using in normal condition Stable for the end user

Annual check

First class pressure vessel

Have to do the annual check

Second class pressure vessel

Don't have to do the annual check

Safety

When the liquid vessel fa lls, causing the liquid nitrogen in the vessel to vaporize at an extremely fast speed, and the

pressure rises. The pressure relief valve of the safety valve is limited, and the pressure cannot be completely relieved,

causing danger

  1. Air compressor
  2. Refrigeration dryer
  3. Precision filters (3 levels)
  4. Air storage tank
  5. Nitrogen storage tank (optional)

The most high-efficient of temperature ranges from 20℃ to 25℃ for CMS working. Passing through the refrigeration dryer and the precision filters, the gas that gets to the nitrogen generator is almost pure and rarely influenced by ambient temperature.

There is no motor in nitrogen generator. Therefore, we should use the air compressor to get the enough gas and then start producing nitrogen.

There are countless little pits on the CMS surface and looked as tiny as sand. Thus, if the CMS polluted by humid and oil gas, the nitrogen productivity will decrease as the time passing.

Both of them have the same productivity. But we can see the nitrogen purity displayed on the YS-N-I02.

To know the nitrogen purity on YS-N-I03, we should install the external purity sensor.

  1. Instantaneously large quantity requirement.
  2. The distance between equipment is too long to transport the gas. It will cause the more needless pressure difference.

We have the user-friendly internet system that can easily turn on/off the power even if we’re not beside the nitrogen generator. Also, we can observe the nitrogen purity, quantity and historic record through the computer with the internet system.

  1. Working for 6000 hours.
  2. Bought for a year. (First expire first maintain.)

PS. We suggest you can follow one of the maintenance conditions which firstly reach the setting standard.
